Awards

  • Our lead therapist is a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (CASDCS) and is comfortable with applying strengths-based interventions and approaches using a neurodiversity lens.

  • Our team comprises of therapists who are trained in basic American Sign Language (ASL) and incorporates the use of sign along with gestures, visuals, and verbal output when working with all children.

  • Our lead therapist had the unique opportunity to receive training through the Franklin Covey’s “Leader in Me” program. An evidence-based program that focuses on whole-child development through leadership, culture and academics, and continues to incorporate these strategies with the children we serve today!

  • Our therapists are CPR/First Aid trained.

  • Our team is comprise of therapists who are trained in the English for Speakers of Other Language (ESOL) program and have extensive experience working with children who are English Language Learners (ELL).

  • The Founder of Virtual Speech Academy (VSA) is committed to lifelong learning and recently earned the 2024 - 2027 Award for Continuing Education (ACE) from the American Speech and Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

  • With years of experience in public schools, we've helped students overcome communication barriers that affect both academic success and social development. We work closely with educators, parents, and school teams to provide targeted therapy that aligns with educational goals. Our expertise includes supporting students with language delays, speech disorders, ASD, stuttering, and other communication challenges, using evidence-based methods to ensure measurable progress.

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLPs) or relevant qualifications for assistants
